Welcome To Compass House

Compass House exists to provide safe shelter and services to Runaway and Homeless youth (RHY). Clients of Compass House voluntarily enter the shelter or engage in case management through the Resource Center. All services are aimed at preventing the client’s decline into chronic homelessness while promoting a more stable and productive living situation.

  Thank you AbsoluteGoo!

In June, www.absolutegoo.com, the Goo Goo Dolls' fansite, hosted a webauction and raised a staggering $13,000 for Compass House.  Each year, Goo fans pour onto Ebay and the Absolutegoo site to bid on rock-and-roll memorabilia and other items -- all donated by friends of the band in support of Compass House.  From fundraising through the auction to general awareness-raising on the Goo's website, the support of the Goo Goo Dolls comunity has made an INCREDIBLE impact in our ability to serve runaway and homeless youth.  Of special note this year, two lucky bidders won once-in-a-lifetime prizes of five minute phone calls to band members Johnny Reznick and Robby Takac.  Auction organizers report that both had amazing things to say about Compass House and look forward to supporting this auction next year in 2010!
